Marketing Designer

Job Summary

PURE+FREEFORM is currently experiencing rapid growth in a growing market and we are seeking a Marketing Designer to join our team.  The Marketing Designer is responsible for understanding the market needs and determining and executing marketing strategies and programs aimed to provide brand awareness and consumer acquisition within the industry.  The Marketing Designer develops and leads all marketing initiatives across a variety of platforms and forums.  The Marketing Designer will communicate the unique position and offering that PURE + FREEFORM has in the marketplace – custom Architectural Metal Walls & Ceilings.  We offer a solution that will meet their needs and set them apart from the competition.

Key Responsibilities 

Leads the marketing strategies and oversees all activities: marketing materials across all channels to include website, digital and print media, social media, e-communications, and educational material for consumers.

  • Identifies unmet customer needs and new business opportunities and provides vision and focus to move products from idea to market place
  • Understands industry best practices and emerging developments to keep marketing strategy relevant in maintaining competitive edge 
  • Leads and coordinates market research activities, product planning, product launches, market development 
  • Utilizes social media channels to highlight projects, finishes, news, as appropriate
  • Interacts directly with product managers and sales representatives to identify new marketing opportunities
  • Drives public relations approach and serves as primary point of contact with external media outlets and partners
  • Establishes strategy and roll-out plan for new design releases, leading the process of execution
  • Manages available research efforts and insights to analyze and recommend new strategic opportunities
  • Sets direction for and updates to website and coordinates execution with outside consultants
  • Procures content for digital and print media and coordinates execution with outside consultants
  • Coordinates project photo shoots and pricing with outside consultants 
  • Develops and executes content for monthly e-communications/newsletters
  • Attends relevant industry events and exhibits as ambassador to brand, developing business partnerships
  • Trains and educates broader organization on marketing materials, ensuring most effective use
  • Tracks quarterly and annual metrics and analytics surrounding marketing initiatives and monitors performance 
  • Other ad hoc projects as assigned

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Exceptional knowledge and experience in digital and print marketing channels including web, social media and other emerging technology
  • Candidates must exhibit strong project management, organizational and time-management skills 
  • Highly motivated self-starter and team player, possessing strong collaboration skills 
  • Excellent listening, reading, written and oral communication skills and comfort interacting with senior executives and other external business partners 
  • Exhibits a work style that is creative, resilient, resourceful, high energy, highly influential, and passionate, with strong focus on execution
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems
  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit with the highest level of integrity, professionalism and quality standards 
  • Able to meet specific deadlines while balancing multiple projects at once
  • Must have a positive, can do attitude
  • Travel required (10%)

Education/ Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Interior Design, Architecture, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3+ years of professional working experience in related field, preferably in Manufacturing, Construction or Architecture

Sales Representative is responsible for maximizing and growing sales within his/her assigned geography by expanding opportunities in existing customers and acquiring new business.   Sales Representative will initiate, establish and maintain customer relationships by creating a superior customer experience that will set the stage for effective sales follow-up, as well as future product sales.  Sales Representative will drive sales through product knowledge which will enable candidate to align key business objectives of clients.  Candidates must be self-motivated, self-directed and have a proven track record of successful sales development.  Candidate should possess the ability to present, sell, and understand product design and manufacturing.
