20 Hudson Yards
Hudson Yards Retail is a 7 story, 720,000 square-foot space, developed by Related Cos. and Oxford Properties Group, and which features 100 stores and 25 food and beverage offerings. Its towering atrium is interlaced with glass and gloss and the acoustical metal ceilings needed to follow suit. The light and dark colored walnut ceilings use a special coating that make them semi reflective (80 level gloss) which captures the movement and lights of the interior, creating motion and excitement. The ceilings also employ a microperforation for acoustics.
