Adelphi University
Adelphi University is the oldest higher learning institution in Long Island, just miles from the busy streets of Manhattan. On campus, the Ruth S Harley University Center is a hub for all things Adelphi. The center recently underwent a massive transformation, adding wings on 3 sides of the building and completely renovating the interiors to add meeting spaces, food and beverage sales, as well as an expanded art gallery. With no detail too small, the interior elevator cabs were reclad with a graphic metal to offer a unique and dynamic surface. Even in a heavily used space, the material is highly durable.
