CORE Construction’s new Frisco HQ marries indoor and outdoor spaces with exterior stairways, floor to ceiling windows, and a new rooftop amenity space. Offering endless views of the Texas landscape, the space offers plenty of room for employees to get fresh air, relax, or outdoor room for collaboration. The building’s exterior material choices were refined and industrial, giving a superior and modern look to the building façade that is representative of the company’s ethos. A textured silver finish, Tempest Patina, was employed in a Corrugated metal panel on the 3rd floor amenity space, keeping the design intent aligned while bringing a different material choice to the exterior. Up close, the finish texture takes precedent with dynamic tones that change in light. The heat of the Texas sun is still no match for the material’s FEVE resin, offering an AAMA 2605 exterior durability rating against fading or color change for up to 60-years.
