Q1 2022 Update

MetaMetal Release

MetaMetal has arrived. A foray into experiential design, MetaMetal instills inspiration, creativity, and imagination into spaces with vibrant colors and lively patterns that break the boundaries of metal. Our latest collection focuses on the intersectional qualities of materials – color, texture, pattern, and gloss – to offer 8 brand new metal surfaces for facades, ceilings, and millwork with hybrid materiality. Transcending material lines, MetaMetal is anything but ordinary.

The great return to office! Boston Dynamics’ HQ in Waltham, MA was named one of the most popular office designs of 2021 on Office Snapshots.

To create a sense of depth and texture, corrugated metal panels were used on the exterior of Mount Si High School. NAC Architecture’s design incorporates a variation between material surfaces, textures and colors to represent vast forms of nature and provide a semiotic backdrop for each area of campus. We spy with our little eye – Gilded Rust on Office Snapshots! The material offers a natural, weathered steel appearance to interior planter boxes and seating banquettes in flexible and lightweight aluminum. We added a very deep gloss matte layer of pearlized rust to create a wonderful complexity and sophisticated luminosity, all while remaining matte.

We made the January i+s list of Products for Health & Wellness. Gun Metal offers a VOC and Red List-free alternative to traditional blackened steels, with a cost-free option to customize. For interior applications, the material can be used for walls, ceilings, or interior millwork, like this fascia cladding for Western Market in DC.

We joined CISCA!  CISCA is the global premier authority for the interior construction, acoustical ceilings and acoustical treatment industry. We are excited to deepen our roots in the ceilings industry to learn from and alongside our fellow manufacturers, distributers, and other industry friends.
