At 50 Hudson Yards, one of New York City’s most prominent commercial towers and a defining project within the Hudson Yards developmen, Pure + FreeForm contributed to a high-end, confidential workplace designed by Foster + Partners. For the interior baffle ceilings, the team provided their stocked woodgrain finish, Pearl White Oak, chosen for its refined tone and contemporary appearance. In addition, Pure + FreeForm collaborated closely with the design team to develop a custom oak finish, precisely matched to the species, gloss level, and grain of a natural wood veneer sample. The result is a sophisticated integration of natural wood aesthetics with the performance and durability of metal, aligning seamlessly with the project’s elevated design standards.
