The Gensler Designed Amazon L4 Tower at Boston’s Seaport District was designed with community and context in mind. The 18-story building captures the industrial history of the site referenced via materiality, focusing on classic black metals and a Pure Freeform designed matte-textured corten, Mature Rust. The articulated facade reduces the perceived scale of the facade, providing a human-centric scale to the Paseo and vibrant street level public spaces below.
