Transitional Metal 101
Transitional Metal 101
Transitional Metal describes our indoor to outdoor solutions. Our finish designs, product longevity and array of finished panel systems provide everything you need to create beautiful spaces with reduced visual barriers.
The interplay between interior and exterior spaces presents distinct challenges, demanding bespoke design solutions. Use the exact same finish indoors and out, instead of trying to find a near match for areas where sightlines extend through the facade.
Pure + FreeForm’s finishes provide detail and uniqueness not only great for interior spaces but are outdoor friendly with a 60+ year product lifecycle. In addition to depth and quality of finish design, we also offer a wide range of finishes to fit with any context.
Midland Residence
For the Midland Residence, incorporating transitional metals was a deliberate choice to enhance both the aesthetic and functional aspects of the design. By integrating blackened steel, we accentuate the residence’s modern sensibilities while grounding the space in a timeless, industrial elegance.
SFO Airport
This thoughtful integration of transitional metals ensures that the observation deck is not only a striking architectural statement but also a durable, enduring space that seamlessly bridges contemporary design with the natural landscape.
